Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese term that describes finding beauty and serenity in the imperfect. In our glass making classes we often talk about the concept of Wabi-Sabi and embracing the imperfection when working with glass. We love this funky vase and it’s funky personality. Not totally symmetrical but a balanced form with playful movement. An upward flow, swimming up out of the water or reaching towards the clouds.
